Booking
Booking must be done using the form provided and payment must be made in full at the time of booking to secure a place.
The 10% returning student discount only applies to those who have attended a course at my own studio – 35 Hydeway.
Allocation
Places are limited so allocation will be done on a first come first served basis. If you book once the course is full you will be refunded, or offered to carry over the fee to secure a place on the next course.
Confirmation
Once payment is received you’ll be sent confirmation of your place on the course. Information pertaining to your course i.e., what to bring, what to prepare etc. will be sent to you in the weeks before the course starts.
Cancellation
All cancellations are to be made in writing.
Cancellations made 6 weeks in advance will receive a full refund or date change
Cancellations made 4 weeks in advance will receive 75% refund
Cancellations received 2 weeks in advance will receive a 50% refund
Cancellations made less than 2 weeks in advance will receive no refund
You may send a replacement if you are unable to attend a class, however, all pre-class information will be your responsibility to pass on.
In the unlikely event that I have to cancel a course you will be offered to transfer your place to another date or receive a full refund. I’m not liable for other expenses incurred (such as accommodation or transport) – only the course fee will be refunded.
Materials
All basic materials are provided in the course fee. Additional or more specialized materials can be purchased.
Accommodation
No accommodation is provided. Students are expected to make their own arrangements for accommodation or commuting.
Food
All refreshments are provided in the cost. Special dietary needs or allergies must be highlighted when booking. If you prefer to bring your own lunch you are very welcome but no financial recompense will be given.
Collecting work
Students booked onto the coldworking course will take their work away with them at the end of the course. Students on casting courses will need to make arrangements to collect their work at a later date as it will still be in the kiln. Moulds can be packaged and a courier service arranged for a fee or moulds may be collected in person at an appointed time.
Copyright
No part of the course may be copied or reproduced.
Data protection
Any information you pass onto me will remain confidential. It will not be passed onto a third party and will not become part of a mailing list unless authorized to do so. Reviews and testimonials may be reproduced for use on publicity material or the website.
